Summer 2025 Recap – "Ten Weeks of Wonder"
What a summer it has been! From early June to the sunny days of August, the halls of The Family of Faith Preschool were filled with energy, laughter, and joyful learning during our 2025 Summer Camp.
Each of our ten themed weeks offered something unique to spark curiosity and imagination. We kicked things off with a week of icebreakers and personal expression through "All About Me" posters. In Week 2, campers got creative with collages, tie-dye, and art that celebrated the many names of God.
Week 3 brought the excitement of safari exploration and a memorable Vacation Bible School visit. By Week 4, the classrooms turned into kitchens, with children making parfaits and sandwiches, followed by a fun field trip to the bowling alley.
Week 5 was all about service and gratitude, featuring community helper role play and a visit to the local fire station. Week 6 launched us into space with planet projects and a field trip to Drip n Slime. In Week 7, campers became scientists through hands-on experiments and a visit to Little Beakers.
In Week 8, our ocean explorers dove into marine life studies and enjoyed a splash-filled day at Zube Water Park. Week 9 embraced sports, encouraging teamwork and athletic fun, with a bounce-filled trip to Bounce, Bounce. We wrapped up with Week 10’s musical celebration, complete with homemade instruments, guest performances, and a special movie day.
Throughout the summer, themed snacks and creative decor made every moment memorable, turning classrooms into immersive experiences. At every step, our goal remained to create meaningful, faith-centered fun and inspire growth across all areas of development.
